Her father was a promoter and owner of an independent Japanese wrestling federation, and her mother was the star. The young girl took her first steps inside the wrestling ring at her family home. She began training at six, finally stepping into the ring for her first real match on her 13th birthday. This was the match that would earn her her mask, and what would lead to the creation of the name "Super Tiger". She stayed in Japan for five years, wrestling for her father's promotion, before deciding she wanted to see the rest of the world, and spread lucharesu along with it. Signed by Marisol Francesca Cruz, known more commonly as Mariah, or MiMi, as the first international talent under the banner of Divinity Unlimited, Super Tiger came to the US. She wrestler for a few promotions, becoming a multiple time tag team champion, a hardcore champion, and even survived a brutal Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournament undefeated to main event NFW'S annual WrestleWar. In her third year as a professional in the US, Risa would finally reach the mountaintop, claiming the Southern Rebellion Wrestling's top title and being named Queen of the South. When the company closed it's doors for a rebranding, with her as it's last World Champion, Saito joined the reopened HYBRID, becoming that company's first Iron Heart Champion. After a horrible accident that saw her break her neck and sit out pretty much the remainder of 2022, Risa has been training, working hard to get back to top form so that she can take 2023 by storm. |
